Kindness - it’s free and it matters…
I went to our local Woolworths today to do our weekly family shop. I noticed that the beautiful staff seemed rushed and stressed, often serving more than one customer at the same time due to demand. As I finished my shop and went to pay the checkout attendant apologised constantly for items not being available or limits being applied.
At a challenging time amid the Coronavirus when emotions such as anxiety, fear and stress may be high it’s so important to be mindful that we never know what another person is experiencing themselves or what their private experience (feelings) might be.
Kindness is free and goes a long way. The staff today were doing their best and such a terrific job. Thank them and let them know you’re grateful. This simple act just might make their day (especially now). ❤️
